User management

Depending on the selection you’ve made within the onboarding wizard, the user overview is filled with users from your Azure Active Directory. The screenshot below shows an example of the user overview.

In the All users overview, active users are shown in black and deleted users are shown in red. With the filter options you can select either All users, Active users or Deleted users to filter the overview.
The search box above the overview gives you the possibility to search for either a display name or username.

User details
When selecting a user in the user overview, by clicking on either the display name or the username, a side pane will open on the righthand side of the page. Within this pane several details are shown and you have the possibility to assign Groups, Resources and/or Roles to the selected user.

Add user to group(s)
To add a user to one or more groups, please follow the steps as described below.

  1. Select the user by clicking on the display name or username to open the side pane.
  2. Within this pane click on Edit behind Group memberships.
  3. In the search box start typing the name of the group you want to add the user to and click Add behind the name of the group.

  4. If you want to add the user to more groups at once, click Add, search for another group name and click Add again before saving the side pane.
  5. After you’ve added the user to the group(s), you return to the user detail pane. Here you can see the group(s) the user is member of.

Assign resource(s) to user
To assign one or more resources to a user, please follow the steps as described below.

  1. Select the user by clicking on the display name or username to open the side pane.
  2. Within this pane click on Edit behind Resources.
  3. In the search box start typing the name of the resource you want to assign to the user and click Add behind the resource you want to assign.
  4. The content of the side pane changes to the Resource properties overview. Within this pane you can select several properties and save the pane.

  5. If you want to assign another resource to the same user, repeat steps 3 and 4 for another resource.
  6. After you’ve assigned the resource(s) to the user, you return to the user detail pane. Here you can see the resource(s) that are assigned to the user.
